  • Keep them on a leash at camp — there are many temptations that your companion could act on.

Newsletter Information

Dear Albertans! Stay up to date with our newsletters!

Each upcoming season there will be a post pertaining to any information that needs to be noted by our visitors/village residents. Each newsletter will contain information from our local Mayor, and any messages he would like to share to those interested. There will also be annual information meeting invitations for individuals to attend to their liking if they have any questions or concerns they may have. You will also find a little summary of what we have been working on recently, in terms of projects for Sunset Beach Village. For instance, currently we are looking at restoring Centennial Park in the summer, and will be removing some dead trees, while leveling the ground to ensure proper drainage occurs and seeding it at the same time. Some additional benches and/or picnic tables will also be being implemented in the later year.

Also in the newsletter, will be any election news pertaining to anyone who is interested in running for council. The contact info regarding election, will be found in the newsletter along with ‘new land use bylaws,’ and any tax updates for our beach.

You can also find information about our “neighbourhood watch page.” Our watch page is hosted by two of our community members (Susan and Maxine) who welcome any visitors or community members interested, to follow them on their Facebook page. The purpose of this page is for everyone to communicate any suspicious activity on-going at Sunset Beach, to help ensure visitors are traveling to attend a safe place to enjoy with their family and friends.

Furthermore, in the bulletin provided you will be able to find information of how we equip our Beach/Village properly to help everything in their homes/campgrounds are secure, along with emergency contact info if any issues/conflicts were to arise.
